Ottawa’s Premier Specialty Coffee Festival
Coffee Right YOW brings together the best local and out of town roasters, food vendors, and makers for a one‑day celebration of specialty coffee culture in Ottawa’s historic Parkdale Market.
And the best part, it’s completely FREE to enter and sample from over 20 roasters and more than 20 food vendors and makers.
There is an optional $5 ticket that enters you into a bunch of sponsored raffle prizes and 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the Semilla Coffee Farmer Fund, which donates micro, non-repayable loans to farmers between crops.

We have curated a special line up of some the best and most exciting roasters from across Ontario, Quebec and the East Coast. Coffee lovers are not going to be disappointed!

Festival Features
Cuppings/Samplings
Roasters from across Canada will be sampling their best and brightest coffees, and you can take your favourites home (bring a big bag, or buy a Coffee Right YOW tote, you’re gonna have a lot of favourites).
One of our sponsors, Semilla Coffee, will also be hosting their own guided cupping (tastings) tent, where they will also discuss the importance of building equitable and sustainable relationships with coffee producers.
Check the link below for their cupping and discussion schedule.
AeroPress Ottawa Regionals
Taking place on the Parkdale Market’s Park Stage during the festival will be the AeroPress Ottawa Regionals, where the best cup gets to compete at the Nationals in Calgary in October! And the best part, The Artery and Eight Ounce Coffee will cover your airfare and hotel for 2 nights. And if you win the nationals, we’ll send you to South Korea. Last year’s nationals winner was from Ottawa, so let’s go back-to-back

Or just come cheer on the competitors and our celebrity judges.
The Competition starts around 11 am on the park stage.
